Sum'beach Somewhere Complete With Dead Birds And Red Snapper

So you've heard all about Billy's family's trip to NYC. 4 days after they returned, they went to Billy's in-laws beach house on Folly Beach, SC for a second long weekend in a row. Before you get too jealous, let me tell you how exhausting this was, going from the hustle and bustle of New York, flying, driving, driving again, then completely passing out on the beach for two days. Believe it or not, sun, beer, and inactivity are just as tiring as walking 100 miles on concrete sidewalks.

Here is a little photo montage of the beach trip:
Father-in-law's little friend that had flown into the house an hour before we got there and flew into a window from inside the house.  It didn't get buried until two days later. Good thing we talked him into letting it bake in the sun instead of staying in the house. There are unfortunate physiological reasons why he does things like this sometimes, so give him a break. (We still love him :))

View from back deck of beach house looking at the Atlantic. Ahhhh....
View from side deck looking towards front of the house at the marsh, rivers, and creeks. Charleston, SC in the far background along with bridges and lighthouses. Hard to capture.
Awesome roof deck on very top of the house. 360 degree view of ocean, marshes, rivers, creeks, and Charleston . Good place to watch fireworks on the 4th.  Awesome sunsets. Steps not good for drunk people, so I'll post some pics of the views from there when I get my daughters to send me some.
Buck-fitty red snappers at the Sand Dollar Club. Used to be a buck til this year. Inflation sux.

  4. That view is very serene and relaxing. It's a shame your trip was so hustle bustle.
