Surprise, surprise.....
I apologize for being the king of the slackers on posting. Like most of you, I once thought this blog was my ticket to fame and fortune, or at the least it was an avenue for a needy bitch like me to get attention. Then, following in the footsteps of most bloggers (Debra She Who Seeks Not included), the novelty wore off.
Tonight, however, the mood struck me. Not because of me, but because of Billy. You see, tonight is confession time. I, Barfly, am Billy. Shocked? Of course your'e not. This has been an obvious teaser since the inception of this blog.
Billy, Lisa, and the girls have made a life changing descision to try to provide a better quality of life for their family by encouraging Billy to follow his dream and go for it all in a career path that he really wants and deserves. In Billy's field, this means that relocation to another state is eminent. It's an exciting, nervewracking, stressfull time that has unbelievably created an extremely happy and possitve time in Billy's family.
However, for a few hours on Friday night, time stopped as Billy, Lisa, and their oldest daughter saw Shinedown at a Columbia, SC bar's outdoor stage.
